About DAC

The principle of D A Construction, Donny Alcocer, began his career in the construction field at an early age,  has over 35 years' construction experience, and has been a licensed general contractor since 2009.  Donny has also been an International Code Council (ICC) certified California Building Inspector, as well as a Mechanical and Plumbing Inspector.   He holds an EPA Lead-Safe Certification, is a Qualified Contractor /Applicator (QCA) for Westcoat, and is Passive House consultant certified.

Donny has worked as a Construction Consultant and Expert Witness in Construction Dispute cases.  Learning about how construction projects can go wrong in dispute cases brings him the knowledge on what not to do in the field.

D A C is a family-owned business and is based out of Santa Cruz County.  Donny lives in the rural countryside and is a father to two sons.
